The walkers majestically walked along the beautiful green scenery of the well perfumed tea farms of Tole, to the watchful eyes of the populations of the neighbouring villages who came to cheer them up.

Conspicuously present at this year’s sports event were some top personalities such as; the Governor of the South West Region, the Secretary General in the Governor’s office, the SDO for Fako, DOs of Limbe I and II, the General Manager of SONARA, the Assistant General Manager of Afriland Bank, the president of the Court of First Instance Limbe just to name a few.

Interestingly enough, Fako SDO, Zang III, covered the 23-km distance, from Buea to Limbe without looking tired one bit, and this earned him the admiration of all, as he became the talk of the day.

Governor Bernard Okalia just like the General Manager of SONARA, Ibrahim TALBA MALLA, and the rest of the participants were all unanimous that this year’s edition was wonderful and exceptional, especially as all the walkers did the walk, with no incident occurring.

The presence of several foreign participants and a battery of athletes within Cameroon, makes Limbe, the Town of Friendship a winner economically, as its Hotels, Beaches, the Botanical and Zoological Gardens etc, will all be visited and this will fetch the business men and women of the town some spin over.

Let the Tea walk, continue to walk SONARA through the pedestal of success, the very success which the company has recorded over the years and which makes it a giant in the refining domain, in the sub region.
